Apple has unveiled Aperture 3, the latest version of its raw-conversion and photo management software. It promises faster organization of large number of images and offers over 200 new features. Changes include a new Faces and Places option that enables Face detection and geotagging, an improved slideshow feature that combines photos and HD videos, and a new Brushes feature to 'paint' effects on images. Mac users who already own Aperture will be able to upgrade for US $99, while new customers can buy it for US$199.
